Firefly survey Projects
Yes, you can help us !
Worldwide fireflies and glow-worms are in decline. Not only loss and degradation of habitat and pesticides, but also light pollution and exploitation seem possible threats.

In order to better understand the importance of these threats on fireflies we need to know which species occur exactly where and when in order to understand how well or how bad they are doing to coope in this world changed by us humans, and in order to be able to conserve them. Therefore, we promote citizen science survey projects around the globe.
